Vintage Hitachi Vertical Play CD Player From The Early 80’s. Good Working Order

Vintage 1982 Hitachi CD player.

 

Good working order. I have tried it on various CD’s and it works well, only having problems playing CD’s in very poor condition.

 

This is a real piece of history dating back to the early 1980’s and was one of the first domestic CD players available.

 

The way it loads and ejects the CD is a work of art .

 

The cosmetic condition is good, but there are marks, fading, and scratches to the top of the case. The front panel is in excellent condition.

 

Overall, it’s in good cosmetic condition considering its age.
